Requirements

  • Ability to bend, lift to 40 pounds, perform work in confined spaces when running cabling, and possess sufficient dexterity to work on computer hardware.
  • Proficient in using a PC keyboard.
  • Full-time (40+ hours/week) on-site position.
  • Occasional after-hours support required for maintenance windows, system upgrades, and production emergencies.

  • Deep technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems for designing, implementing, and managing complex infrastructure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to explain system designs to non-technical stakeholders and document configurations clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management skills to oversee initiatives from conception to completion, managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles to ensure systems are secure and current with the latest standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability to manage multiple system components and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Management, Computer technology, Computer Engineering or similar field of study.
  • Five+ years’ experience with Information Technology including end-user, network administration, cybersecurity and ERP support.
  • Microsoft server and Cisco networking software.

  • CompTIA Network+, MCSA and/or CCNA, desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 end-user support through Tier 3 support for all Latitude locations.
  • Handle new employee onboarding for IT-related items.
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot all endpoints.
  • Administer LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Minimize downtime and ensure system availability, security, and performance across all company locations.
  • Provide Production IT support.
  • Enforce cybersecurity compliance.
  • Requisition IT equipment on a recurring basis.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact (Tier 1) for all IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Provide on-site support for manufacturing systems and shop floor computers.
  • Document resolutions and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues.
  • Onboard new employees, including setting up phones, email, computers, and computer access, and providing training.
  • Provide Audio/Visual (A/V) support, including setting up Employee Owner meetings.
  • Maintain and monitor Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Maintain an automated update system for workstation endpoints with Windows and third-party software patches, and anti-virus/anti-malware software.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans; perform system backups and recovery.
  • Administer and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance (Inter- and intra-net) and respond to incidents affecting production uptime.
  • Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, IP schemas, and change logs.
  • Manage existing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity/access management.
  • Implement and maintain a monitoring system for server and workstation hardware and software health to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all company software and new releases.
  • Maintain asset inventory records for all hardware and software.
  • Install new hardware and software on workstation endpoints as needed; work with vendors to maintain and upgrade all company infrastructure.
  • Attend remote and on-site training related to business-critical software; maintain IT related industry certifications.
  • Restrict access to export-controlled data in accordance with company policy.
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies including endpoint protection, access controls, and log monitoring.
  • Perform cybersecurity activities and testing to ensure data are protected.
  • Support audits and assessments related to CMMC, NIST 800-171, and other applicable frameworks.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as requested.
