About The Position

The Network Engineer Specialist provides basic support and ownership of moderately complex network assignments. The role applies technical and operational expertise to solve problems of moderate complexity, contribute to project completion, and interface with internal and external customers. It is intended for candidates looking to expand their technical skills and take on greater responsibility in network engineering within a DoD government contractor environment. The position supports network design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and security compliance. It also leads small teams on low-complexity projects, collaborates across teams, and mentors junior staff. The role provides technical expertise across network administration, cybersecurity, and data management. For limited-footprint client deployments, it may require cross-functional duties outside the usual scope to maintain system availability and operational readiness. The position requires travel to client expeditionary afloat or ashore sites to support system deliveries or operations, up to 25% of the time. Employment is contingent on obtaining an interim Secret clearance; continued employment and access to classified information depend on obtaining and maintaining a final Secret clearance. The position is based in Panama City, Florida, and has no minimum clearance at application.
