Concurrent Technologies Corporation•Panama City, FL

About The Position

The Network Engineer Specialist provides basic support and ownership of moderately complex network assignments. The role applies technical and operational expertise to solve problems of moderate complexity, contributes to project completion, and interfaces with internal and external customers. It is intended for candidates seeking to expand their technical skills and take on greater responsibility in network engineering within a DoD government contractor environment. The position provides comprehensive technical expertise across network administration, cybersecurity, and data management. For limited-footprint client deployments, the employee must be flexible in performing cross-functional technical duties outside the usual scope of the role to maintain system availability and operational readiness. The position requires hands-on SD-WAN administration and experience configuring and troubleshooting BGP and OSPF in an active network, as well as experience with next-generation firewalls. The role requires travel to client expeditionary afloat or ashore sites to support system deliveries or operations, up to 25% of the time. A Secret clearance must be obtainable; an employment offer is contingent on an interim Secret clearance, and continued employment and access to classified information depend on obtaining and maintaining a final Secret clearance.
