About The Position
This role involves network administration and security implementation, focusing on SolarWinds, SIEM platforms, automation scripting, and compliance with security standards like PCI, NIST, and Pub 1075. The position requires significant experience in the Public Sector and necessitates the contractor to provide their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop environment will be provided.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with SolarWinds network administration, including WPM, SAM, UDT, and WHD
- 10+ years of experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
- 10+ years of experience with automation scripting
- 10+ years of experience with PCI, NIST, and Pub 1075 security implementations and/or audits
- 7+ years of experience in the Public Sector
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, NTP, DNS, MLLP, and NDM
- PowerShell
- Disaster Recovery
- Incident Handling
- Cyber Security and SOC (Security Operations Center) skills
