About The Position

Join a high-impact team as a Network Consultant leading enterprise-scale infrastructure projects for a Fortune 500 client in Frisco, TX. As a senior technical leader, you will architect, implement, and support complex data center networking solutions while managing end-to-end project delivery. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to drive network modernization, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a visible impact on mission-critical initiatives.

Requirements

  • Extensive enterprise-level experience with data center operations, migrations, and modernization.
  • Expert in Arista and Juniper switching, BGP, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN, and spine-leaf architectures.
  • Proven hands-on skills in network security, SDN, and SD-WAN.
  • Strong background in infrastructure program management, including stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and documentation.
  • Proficiency with SolarWinds, NetFlow, Infoblox, Wireshark, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex routing, switching, and network security environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical program management in financial services, healthcare, telecom, or other large enterprises.
  • Infrastructure/cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Expertise with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, SIEM, IDS/IPS.
  • Experience leading multi-million-dollar infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale data center migrations, refreshes, and modernization projects from planning to execution.
  • Serve as the technical authority for enterprise networking, routing, and security architecture.
  • Design, implement, and optimize data center networks using Arista, Juniper, EVPN/VXLAN, and spine-leaf topologies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning networking, cloud, storage, security, and operations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, stakeholder communications, and technical documentation.
  • Develop infrastructure roadmaps, migration strategies, and deployment plans.
  • Oversee network monitoring, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.
  • Partner with vendors and business leaders to ensure on-time, in-budget project delivery.
  • Create detailed architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and change management documentation.
