About The Position

This role involves providing expert-level network engineering services, focusing on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies. The consultant will be responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and architecture of network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs. The position requires a high degree of technical expertise and the ability to work independently with provided virtual desktop access.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Cisco Firewalls
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco Routers
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco Switches
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco Administration
• 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
• 2+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDR
• Must have own equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years of experience with monitoring and tracing tools
• 10+ years of experience with core network architecture
• 10+ years of experience with advanced troubleshooting, routing, and switching
• 4+ years of experience with wireless networks
• 3+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure
• CCNA and/or CCNP certification

Responsibilities

• Administer Cisco Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and VPNs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, routing, and switching.
• Manage core network architecture.
• Oversee wireless networks.
• Work with hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Utilize monitoring and tracing tools.
