About The Position

The Provider Data Analyst maintains and ensures the accuracy of provider data for network providers. This role supports proper provider selection, accurate reimbursement, and correct access through directory listings. It is a full-time remote position available anywhere in the U.S. Applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship and must be willing to work Pacific time hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience in healthcare data management or a similar role.
Understanding of healthcare provider networks and relationships.
Experience with data analysis and data management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Excellent organizational skills.

Experience working with provider data management systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain provider data for all network providers.
Ensure provider information is accurately recorded and maintained for reimbursement and directory listings.
Review system updates to verify provider data is loaded accurately.
Identify updates needed to complete data load processes.
Support baseline provider data transactions that cannot be administered automatically due to system limitations or data integrity issues.
Contact providers by phone, email, and fax to verify professional and facility information.
Document provider changes in multiple databases.
Research provider group rosters in multiple formats, including Word and Excel.
Review bulk provider submissions from provider groups to confirm data load accuracy.
Research data discrepancies and enter provider data into internal systems as needed to resolve errors.
