About The Position

This position is 100% on site at our Oklahoma City, OK location. The Network Administrator will perform various network administration tasks, including installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks, hardware, and software. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining network security, troubleshooting and resolving network issues, and providing support to end-users. The administrator will also implement and maintain network policies and procedures, maintain network documentation, and perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning. Collaboration with IT team members is essential to ensure the network meets company needs, and staying current with network administration technologies is expected. This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position that requires driving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA-R&S certifications preferred
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing
  • Familiarity with network security, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Experience with network monitoring tools, such as Wireshark and Zabbix
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or 1 chargeable accident within the last three years
  • Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and provide support to end-users
  • Implement and maintain network policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with IT team members to ensure that the network is meeting the needs of the company
  • Stay current with technologies in network administration
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management
