About The Position

Under the guidance of the IT Infrastructure Manager, the Network Administrator will ensure the operational stability of our global network. • Strong understanding of VPN technologies (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access)
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting VPNs across on-premise, cloud (Azure/GCP), and customer environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot hybrid network issues (NAT, VPN gateways, subnetting, static routes, FSSO/AD groups)
  • Experience handling L2–L3 tickets and user escalations
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as FortiAnalyzer (FAZ), PRTG, or similar
  • Exposure to Azure and GCP networking
  • Experience with DNS, proxy services (e.g., Cloudflare), and network access controls
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPO
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Aruba, or Juniper devices
  • Experience upgrading and maintaining network equipment
  • Ability to identify and respond to security incidents (e.g., brute force attempts)
  • Proactive mindset toward improving network security
  • Mandatory proficiency in both French and English to support our global sites (Quebec, India, and Germany).

Nice To Haves

  • Fortinet (NSE 3 or higher) – preferred
  • CCNA or JNCIA (Junos) – good to have
  • Cloud certifications (Azure AZ-900 or GCP Associate) – an advantage
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+ – beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage and troubleshoot VPN tunnels (site-to-site and client VPNs), LAN, and WiFi environments.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including firmware upgrades, patching, and security updates for network equipment.
  • Develop and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and SOPs to ensure team alignment.
  • Handle preparation, racking, and configuration of switches (Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba), firewalls (Fortinet), and WiFi access points.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for escalated network issues, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Flexible hours and hybrid work model
  • Group RRSP
  • On-site amenities (free parking and EV charging stations, complimentary coffee and fruit)
  • 50% reimbursement of monthly RTC bus passes
  • Bright, open-concept workspaces and ergonomic desks
