The Network Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and reliability of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures stable, secure, and efficient network operations across corporate and field locations and supports business continuity through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of network systems.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in network administration or infrastructure support.
  • Strong working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Experience supporting firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
  • Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with IT and business partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed or multi-site environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft-based environments and enterprise tools (e.g., Microsoft 365).
  • Exposure to network monitoring tools and security best practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Network+, CCNA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN environments.
  • Ensure network performance, availability, and security across corporate and remote locations.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, backups, and upgrades to network systems and devices.
  • Configure and manage network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Monitor network security and support implementation of security controls, patches, and access standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot network incidents, performance issues, and vulnerabilities.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts related to network infrastructure.
  • Partner with IT team members to resolve escalated network-related issues.
  • Provide technical support for connectivity needs across enterprise systems and applications.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and changes in accordance with IT standards.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on network planning, capacity management, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Support technology initiatives, system implementations, and IT projects that require network integration.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, best practices, and security trends relevant to network administration.
