About The Position

The Financial Systems Engineer will own and improve DoiT’s financial systems, including NetSuite and the upcoming FloQast implementation. This is a high-ownership role serving Finance and Accounting directly, with responsibility for system configuration, business logic, day-to-day system health, and reducing manual, error-prone work through automation. The role partners with internal engineering on cross-system integrations and helps shape how finance operations run as the company scales. The position is part of Business Systems Engineering and reports to the Manager of Enterprise Systems. It is remote and based in the United States (Eastern time zone), the UK, or Ireland. The successful candidate will serve as the dedicated systems partner to Finance and Accounting, translating business needs into system capabilities and owning relationships related to financial-vendor onboarding, configuration, and administration.

  • Demonstrated drive and track record in automating repetitive manual work, such as through scripting, saved searches, workflow automation, or low-code/iPaaS tools.
  • Sound judgment about where logic belongs, including system configuration versus cross-system integration and identifying the source of truth for data.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across finance and engineering teams, including the ability to translate between them.
  • Fluent English.
