We cover 5 level III and 5 level II newborn intensive care units in Utah. Each Neonatologist provides care in a home base level III NICU, as well as in geographically aligned level II NICUs. Our team consists of 30 Neonatologists and 134 Neonatal Advanced Practice Providers. As a group, we are committed to clinical excellence, working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team, and supporting our patients and their families in receiving treatment as close to home as possible. We aspire to reimagine neonatal critical care. To support these aims, we have expanded use of neonatal telemedicine and opened a new Primary Children’s Hospital campus (level III NICU) in Lehi, Utah. About this role: You will support our Utah Valley Geography, which houses a subgroup of 18 Neonatologists and 35 Neonatal APPs. Your primary work location will be Utah Valley Hospital’s level III 67 bed NICU, which includes a surgical population, located in Provo, Utah. We also support Primary Children's Lehi, Utah level III 8 bed NICU, which is undergoing construction to increase to 20 beds by 2027. Group also provides care at two level II NICUs: 25 bed American Fork Hospital and 19 bed Riverton Hospital, both locations have 24-hour Neonatal APP coverage. You’ll be supported by our qualified staff of RNs, Respiratory Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Dietitians, CNAs, among others. Up to a third of your time may be spent supporting neonatal tele-critical care coverage. Our NICU conducts clinical research; we have two full time research nurses. We conduct projects through industry collaboration and are part of the Utah center for NRN, in collaboration with The University of Utah. On an as needed/as agreed upon basis, you may periodically be asked to provide care at other NICUs within our organization. You will be eligible for a $15,000.00 signing bonus and up to $20,000 in relocation assistance.
