About The Position

The Department of Neonatology at Children's Minnesota is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible neonatologist to join their group of 24 neonatologists. Neonatologists at Children’s Minnesota care for babies across the entire spectrum of neonatal care including those requiring ECMO and those with major surgical conditions. The department also works closely with the active fetal program at the Michael and Ann Ciresi Midwest Fetal Care Center that performs all fetal interventional offerings including treatment of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, EXIT procedures and fetal repair of MMC. The successful candidate will have expertise to provide for babies across the spectrum of neonatal care rotating in the Level III and Level IV NICUs in St. Paul and Minneapolis and in partner neonatal programs at community sites. Neonatologists work in a multidisciplinary collaborative care model across all our sites. With nearly 200 neonatal beds in our neonatal units, we care for 3,000 babies every year, with an active neonatal transport program that provides both air and ground transport to 500 babies annually. The department has a decades-long history of active participation in numerous clinical research trials, has an active department of quality and is a member of the Children’s Hospital Neonatal Consortium. Children’s Minnesota also serves as a training site for the neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship program at the University of Minnesota.
