About The Position

The position involves working within a 40-bed, Level IV NICU at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, which ranks in the top 10 percent for overall parent satisfaction. Additional care is provided at the Level III NICU at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono and the Level II NICU at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg. The Neonatologist will perform neonatal resuscitation and procedures on infants, assess, diagnose, and treat critically ill infants, and provide critical care to infants transported from outside hospitals to the Level IV NICU. Teaching opportunities are also available.

Requirements

Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
Fellowship trained
A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required

Responsibilities

Performing neonatal resuscitation and procedures on term, preterm and ELBW infants
Assessing, diagnosing and treating critically ill preterm and term infants
Providing critical care to infants via air and ground transport from outside hospitals to our level 4 NICU
