About The Position
The NDT technician is part of a team that provides ultrasonic inspections to the steel fabrications assembly group. The team performs receiving, in-stream process, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures against weld engineering and manufacturing specifications. The technician tracks and enters inspection results in electronic databases. Magnetic particle (wet/dry), liquid penetrant, visual weld inspection, and other non-destructive inspection methods are occasionally required. The position is based in the production factory building. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity on third shift in East Peoria, Illinois, paying $20–$22 per hour. Benefits are based on eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasonic inspections for the steel fabrications assembly group.

- Track and enter inspection results in electronic databases.
- Occasionally perform magnetic particle (wet/dry), liquid penetrant, visual weld inspection, and other non-destructive inspection methods.
