About The Position

The National Accounts Operations Associate provides day-to-day operational and administrative support to the National Account team, helping ensure customer needs, account activities, and internal processes are executed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Accounting, Logistics, and other teams to support customer relationships and account execution.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, account coordination, administration, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting national, retail, wholesale, or key accounts.
  • Strong Excel, reporting, and data-management skills.
  • Familiarity with sales operations, order processing, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Experience with SPS Commerce or other EDI platforms.
  • Ability to identify issues, proactively follow up, and drive tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the National Account team.
  • Maintain accurate customer, account, pricing, order, contact, and other account information.
  • Support customer requests, follow-ups, presentations, reports, meetings, and account documentation.
  • Track orders, shipments, deliveries, inventory, deadlines, and other account activities to ensure timely follow-through.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and support smooth execution.
  • Assist with new account setup, product launches, promotions, pricing updates, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports, account trackers, business reviews, presentations, and management materials.
  • Support invoice, deduction, credit, and payment follow-up in coordination with Accounting.
  • Maintain calendars, action-item trackers, electronic files, and other team documentation.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in company systems.
  • Assist with special projects and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Handle sensitive customer and company information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Provide responsive, professional service to internal teams and external customers.
