About The Position

As a National Account Manager - Outdoor, Independent Farm, you’ll be part of our Tools and Outdoor team. You’ll get to execute sales growth plans targeted at the pro user, increase SWK margin, gain market share for all brands and categories, as well as execute new product launches across our Independent Farm accounts, which include the 250+ locations of Blain’s Supply, Fleet Farm, and Rural King. You will lead key brand activation and sales plans for all product categories, heavily focused on the DEWALT, Craftsman, Cub Cadet, and Troy-Bilt brands. You will be customer focused and drive end-to-end solutions for our end user. You will achieve weekly, quarterly & yearly sales goals for the customer, for our brands, and for key categories. You will increase SWK listing both in-store and online by growing our existing share by expanding our current offering and by actively converting our competition. You will strategically activate key T&O initiatives such as Winning the Pro, expanding cordless, and driving growth categories. You will become the liaison between the customer & our internal cross functional teams. You will develop strong relationships and become SWK point person with all levels of account personnel. You will work effectively with your manager on a weekly/monthly basis. You will complete all communication requirements with accounts timely and effectively.

Requirements

  • College or University degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, or relevant area of study
  • 2-3 Years with Farm & Hardware, Retail, and/or Construction and Industrial sales experience
  • Experience with retail events, product demonstration, new product launches
  • Ability to develop, forecast and launch aggressive promotional strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as in a group to achieve team goals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Clean Drivers Abstract required.
  • Ability to travel ~25%
  • Ecommerce experience required.
