About The Position

This position is a senior sales professional responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationship clients. The National Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, driving significant revenue growth, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention across a national or multi regional territory. This position requires strong business acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive, long-term strategic plans for key accounts.
  • Deep understanding of the client’s business, industry, and market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in negotiating complex contracts, pricing, and terms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop a long-term, comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive mindset, driven to grow and improve.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing revenue from a portfolio of key accounts.
  • Experience in packaging manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Good Housekeeping practices in all activities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic account plans for each account.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and decision-makers within national account.
  • Conduct in-depth business reviews with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and long-term goals, and to demonstrate the value of our products.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with clients, which may require national travel.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned by management.
