About The Position

A family in Eagan, Minnesota, is seeking a dependable, nurturing nanny to care for their 3-year-old and 7-month-old. The family values predictable routines, outdoor activities, reading, and clear communication. The nanny will provide stability for the toddler during a transition while remaining responsive to the children’s changing needs and adapting when plans change. The family is looking for a collaborative caregiver who views childcare as a partnership and is comfortable coordinating and tag-teaming with the parents and a second nanny. Care will generally follow a routine of breakfast, a morning activity, a mid-morning snack, playtime, lunch, and a nap beginning around 1:00 p.m. The toddler usually wakes between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m.; the day includes an afternoon snack and a transition out of care around 4:00 p.m. On Wednesdays, the nanny will help prepare the oldest child and complete school drop-off at 8:30 a.m., with some schedule flexibility. The schedule includes 10-hour days on Mondays and Fridays, 12-hour days Tuesday through Thursday, and ideally one 6-hour weekend day. These days will be shared with a second nanny. Guaranteed hours are offered. The position is to start as soon as the right fit is identified. Starting pay is $26 per hour.
