About The Position
We are seeking an experienced nanny who is passionate about caring for infants and becoming an important part of a family's daily routine. The ideal candidate is energetic, joyful, expressive, and enjoys spending time outdoors while creating a fun and engaging environment that encourages learning and development. This position is primarily focused on caring for a 6-month-old infant who is meeting or exceeding developmental milestones, has recently started sitting independently, and is beginning the transition to solids while continuing bottle feedings. The family follows the baby's cues throughout the day, with a flexible schedule of approximately three naps. In addition to providing attentive care, the nanny will prepare bottles, introduce age-appropriate foods as the baby continues exploring solids, and encourage plenty of outdoor time through walks, fresh air, and interactive floor play. The family prefers activities centered around the home for now, with the possibility of outings to parks and other local activities as the child gets older and everyone becomes more comfortable. Household responsibilities include children's laundry, family meal preparation using simple recipes and fresh ingredients from the family's garden when possible, loading and unloading the dishwasher, light housekeeping, quick vacuuming, and watering the garden. An added bonus would be assisting with transportation for the family's grandfather, who lives about 20 minutes away, does not drive due to a disability, and enjoys visiting regularly. Mom and Dad are both laid-back and quiet personalities and would love someone whose energetic, positive, and playful nature brings a fun balance to their home while keeping their little one engaged and active each day.
