The family follows a Montessori-inspired parenting philosophy that emphasizes independence, allowing her opportunities to self-soothe, solve problems on her own, and learn new skills with gentle guidance. They are looking for someone patient, nurturing, creative, and engaging who enjoys planning educational activities and outings while providing a structured, loving environment. Calm, consistent redirection and age-appropriate boundaries are important to the family's parenting style. Childcare is the primary focus, but the family is looking for a proactive, self-starting nanny who naturally notices what needs to be done without being asked. Responsibilities include keeping the child's spaces clean and organized, assisting with grocery shopping, light meal preparation, children's laundry, and maintaining a tidy home throughout the day. The family has a weekly housekeeper, so deep cleaning is not required; however, they expect the home to be cleaned up whenever you finish an activity or leave an area, and the house should always be left neat and organized before heading out for outings or at the end of your shift.
