Dream Nannies is seeking an exceptional Family Assistant for a wonderful, busy family looking for someone who can truly help simplify their day-to-day life. This role is primarily focused on household management, with occasional childcare responsibilities including school pick-ups, transportation to activities, and caring for two sweet, energetic girls (ages 4 & 5) when needed. The family is hoping to find a long-term professional who is proactive, highly organized, and naturally notices what needs to be done without waiting to be asked. They are looking for someone who can take ownership of the household and become a trusted extension of their family. The household management responsibilities are ideal for someone who enjoys creating order and helping busy families stay ahead of the chaos. Duties include meal planning, grocery shopping, preparing healthy family meals, packing school lunches, prepping snacks, loading and unloading the dishwasher, rotating laundry, organizing closets and household spaces, tackling organization projects, seasonal decorating and storage, running errands, purchasing birthday gifts for parties, and helping anticipate the family's needs before they arise. The family values healthy, home-cooked meals and would love someone who enjoys cooking simple, nutritious dinners that the whole family can enjoy. The ideal candidate is a true self-starter who takes initiative, communicates well, and enjoys making recommendations that improve the flow of the household. They are looking for someone warm and affectionate who can build meaningful relationships with the children while confidently providing structure and emotional support when needed. A bilingual candidate, particularly someone who speaks Spanish, would be a wonderful bonus, as the girls have attended Spanish immersion programs since preschool and the family would love to continue exposing them to the language at home.
