About The Position

A part-time evening nanny is needed to care for two boys, ages 3 and 1, in Prosper, Texas. The family seeks someone warm, upbeat, and experienced who provides intentional care that supports the children’s learning and emotional growth, beyond basic supervision. The schedule is 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM, two to three weeknights per week, with occasional weekends. Pay is $20 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous nanny or childcare experience caring for two or more toddlers at the same time.
• Knowledge of toddler development, especially educational and social-emotional development.
• An upbeat, patient, caring, and loving personality.
• Dependable and punctual for evening shifts.
• Reliable transportation to Prosper, TX 75078.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Must pass a background check.
• Able to provide at least 3 professional childcare references.

Nice To Haves

• Early childhood education coursework, a degree, or classroom experience.
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience as a family nanny, preschool teacher, or toddler classroom assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive, and loving care for a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old.
• Lead age-appropriate educational activities, including reading, early learning games, and creative play.
• Support social-emotional development by helping the children name feelings, share, take turns, and calm down.
• Manage evening routines, including dinner, bath time, and bedtime.
• Keep the home tidy in areas used during care, including toys, dishes, and children’s spaces.
• Communicate clearly with parents about the evening, including any concerns.
