Part Time Nanny – Redondo Beach, CA
About The Position
A loving family in Redondo Beach, California, is seeking an experienced, caring, and safety-conscious nanny to care for their 1-year-old daughter. The home is smoke-free and pet-free, and the family values patience, trustworthiness, and an engaging, active caregiving style focused on the child’s safety and development. This is a part-time position for 30 guaranteed hours per week, Monday through Thursday. Mondays are 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The family is open to adjusting the schedule or offering additional hours for the right candidate. The start date will be determined with the family and nanny. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, with gas and mileage reimbursement for job-related driving. Candidates are subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. This is a private, family-hired position; caregivers are hired directly by the family and are not employed by Wellthy.
Requirements
- Prior professional childcare or nanny experience.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification before the start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, engaging personal care and supervision for a 1-year-old child.
- Engage the child in age-appropriate play, outdoor activities, garden playtime, and trips to local parks.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.
- Assist with diaper changes and standard personal care routines.
- Drive the child to local outings, activities, and parks.
- Complete light housekeeping related directly to the child, including the child’s laundry.
