About The Position

A family in Anniston, Alabama, is seeking a reliable, experienced, and nurturing full-time nanny to provide consistent, in-home, long-term care for their infant son. The schedule is Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The stated start date is Monday, November 30th. Compensation is $18 per hour.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Minimum of 2 years of paid childcare experience with infants.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to pass a background and social media check.
• At least 2 references from paid childcare-related experience.
• Comfortable with the family's no-smoking policy on their premises.
• Dependable and punctual, and comfortable with early morning hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and engaging care for an infant in a safe and supportive environment.
• Manage daily care needs, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, and general hygiene.
• Encourage age-appropriate play, activities, and developmental milestones.
• Maintain a consistent daily routine based on the family's preferences and the child's needs.
• Keep the child's areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding the child's daily activities, needs, and overall well-being.
