About The Position

A family in the Beachwood Canyon/Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles is seeking a reliable, experienced, and nurturing temporary full-time nanny to care for their two children, ages 3 and 1, while their current nanny is on leave. Both parents work from home. The nanny will provide attentive, engaging care and maintain the children’s daily routines. The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a flexible Friday end time that may be 3:00 PM. The position guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week. The anticipated start date is ASAP, ideally November 9, 2026, and the end date is December 21, 2026. Compensation is $30–$32 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Have a minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience, specifically with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
Have current CPR certification or be willing to obtain it.
Be able to pass a background and social media check.
Provide two professional references from previous paid childcare positions.
Communicate clearly and effectively in English.
Have reliable transportation to and from the family’s home; driving the children is not required.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, nurturing care for both children, including age-appropriate play, engaging activities, and outdoor play in the family’s yard.
Maintain the children’s daily routines, including lunch, naps, snacks, and transitions between activities.
Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children and clean up afterward.
Assist with children’s laundry and diaper disposal, and keep play areas clean and organized.
Encourage positive behavior, patience, and age-appropriate independence while caring for both children.
Maintain open communication with parents about the children’s activities, routines, and well-being.
