About The Position
Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout Mountain View, California. The role offers full-time or part-time work, daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth. Assignments vary according to family needs, caregiver availability, and scheduling preferences; most involve infants and toddlers, though some may occasionally include older children. Caregivers may work with one or multiple families. Availability Monday through Friday is preferred. Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and typically last 6–9 hours. Pay is $23–$26 per hour, with overtime pay. Employees are paid every two weeks by direct deposit. Eligible full-time team members may receive PTO, paid holidays, healthcare stipends, and retirement savings matching. The hiring process includes an interview, screening and reference checks, an offer if qualified, orientation and training, and matching with families.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience.
- Enjoy working with infants and toddlers.
- Be dependable and professional.
- Communicate well with parents and children.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Provide references: at least two related to childcare work and one character reference.
- Be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Availability Monday through Friday is preferred.
- Experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings; previous nanny experience is not required.
