About The Position
Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout Cupertino, California. The position offers full-time or part-time work, with daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth. Assignments vary according to family needs, caregiver availability, and scheduling preferences; most involve infants and toddlers, though some may include older children. Caregivers are paid every two weeks by direct deposit. The hiring process includes an application review, interview, screening and reference checks, an offer if qualified, orientation and training on the Jovie Way, and matching with families.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience; experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings.
- Dependable and professional.
- Good communication with parents and children.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 references related to childcare work and 1 character reference.
- At least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Monday–Friday availability is preferred.
