About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Named Account Executive focused on Mid-Market Non-Profit Clients. This is a quota-carrying role where the primary responsibility is to understand the unique needs of nonprofit organizations, align their mission goals with Salesforce’s capabilities, and drive strategic partnerships to amplify their social impact. The role requires sales acumen and deep empathy for the nonprofit sector, particularly for organizations focused on public health, behavioral health, homelessness prevention, child welfare, and other human services programs. The Account Executive will partner with internal resources to drive value, generate pipeline leading to revenue and quota attainment, sell on value and return on investment, build credibility and trust, influence buying decisions, uncover business initiatives and struggles to map solutions, and create demand by matching business problems to Salesforce solutions. A deep understanding of how businesses operate and the priorities that drive C-level decisions is essential.

Requirements

  • Average of 5-7 years full cycle sales experience
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in the field
  • Experience selling to the C-suite
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations to a wide range of buyers

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with internal resources in order to drive additional value and expertise
  • Generating pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment
  • Selling on value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
  • Building credibility and trust while influencing buying decisions
  • Uncovering business initiatives and struggles to map back our solutions across multiple lines of business
  • Creating demand by uncovering business problems and matching them to our solution
  • Having a deep understanding of the way businesses operate, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level
