About The Position

The Nail Tech provides quality, professional nail services to resort guests in a relaxing environment, tailoring product and service recommendations to each guest’s needs. The role includes educating guests on at-home maintenance and the benefits of additional services, maintaining treatment stations and supplies, and following sanitation and service protocols. The position is on call and may require flexible hours during busy periods and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Current State Cosmetology or Nail Tech License.
At least 1 year of experience in nail services.
Knowledge of and adherence to industry sanitation laws.
Proficient nail-care skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for providing warm, engaging, and personalized service.
Ability to meet appearance standards and maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure.

Responsibilities

Provide professional services to the highest possible standard while maintaining a relaxing environment.
Begin and end treatments at scheduled times and follow the correct protocols and procedures.
Keep equipment and supplies fully stocked on a day-to-day basis.
Set up nail stations and pedicure bowls or thrones according to procedures and maintain presentation and cleanliness standards.
Communicate backbar inventory levels.
Restock assigned treatment rooms at the end of each day.
Explain product and service benefits to clients with confidence.
Attend all required department training courses and meetings.
Perform other duties required by management.
Recommend appropriate nail products and services for each guest and educate guests about home maintenance and additional services.
