About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking an educator and skilled musician to teach private music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment, builds relationships with students and parents, communicates goals and progress, and partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so teachers can focus on instruction and inspiring students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
