About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and educator to teach private music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment and helps students develop their musical abilities. The role includes communicating with students and parents about goals and progress, and coordinating with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and inspiring students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
