About The Position
Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and dedicated educator to teach private music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment, builds positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and works with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. The role focuses on inspiring students, fostering their musical growth, and helping create lifelong musicians. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
- Two years of music teaching experience.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree (Master’s or doctoral) in Music.
- Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
- Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
