About The Position

A multi-disciplined consulting firm with an established office is seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer/Project Manager for its Dubuque team. The role involves managing municipal infrastructure projects, designing infrastructure, coordinating with clients and public officials, and supporting junior staff. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• At least 5 years of public works experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in client and project management.
• Authorization to work in the USA without sponsorship.

• Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities.

Responsibilities

• Perform project management duties, including project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC.
• Prepare project details, specifications, and bidding documents.
• Manage client relations, including attending council meetings with clients.
• Design municipal infrastructure projects.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory permits.
