About The Position
A multi-disciplined consulting firm is seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer/Project Manager for its Cedar Rapids team. The role involves managing municipal infrastructure projects from planning and scoping through budgeting and quality assurance, designing infrastructure, preparing project documentation, and maintaining client relationships. The position also includes mentoring junior staff and preparing technical reports and regulatory permits. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- At least 5 years of public works experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience in client and project management.
- Authorization to work in the USA without sponsorship.

- Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects, including project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC.
- Prepare project details, specifications, and bidding documents.
