About The Position
A multi-disciplined consulting firm with an established office is seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer/Project Manager for its Dubuque team. The role involves managing and designing municipal infrastructure projects, maintaining client relationships, preparing project and regulatory documentation, and mentoring junior staff. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- At least 5 years of public works experience.
- PE License.
- Experience in client and project management.
- Authorization to work in the USA without sponsorship.

- Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects, including planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC.
- Prepare details, specifications, and bidding documents.
- Handle client relations, including attending council meetings with clients.
- Design municipal infrastructure projects.
- Mentor junior staff.
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory permits.
