About The Position

KWTX is seeking a Multimedia Sales Manager to lead and manage a team of Multimedia Executives, overseeing the development, sale, and execution of client advertising campaigns. The role also includes supporting the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.

Requirements

  • A proven leader with the ability to work independently, think ahead, and put into place action items that need to be accomplished
  • Strong positive attitude with a result-oriented mindset and passion for the media landscape and helping local Media Executives and Clients be successful
  • Prior media sales experience is required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize projects and people
  • Experience with digital advertising
  • Competitive, energetic, and a self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record; MVR check required at hire, and monitored continuously insurance

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to accomplish station and team goals
  • Drive digital revenue growth and achieve revenue targets with a focus on new local direct business
  • Support the Director of Sales in training the local team on an ongoing basis
  • Assist Multimedia Executives in planning, reviewing, rehearsing, presenting, and closing business
  • Work with the sales leadership team to develop sales collateral
  • Ensure successful campaign execution, tracking, delivery, optimization, and reporting to ensure campaign success
  • Maintain professional working relationships with our clients
  • Work at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in advertising solutions with Multimedia Executives and clients
  • Work in operational systems including Wide Orbit, Matrix, Microsoft Office, and others
  • Support accounts receivable, cash-in-advance, and credit processes
  • Assist in the development of pricing and packaging to fulfill the needs of both clients and the station
  • Assist with the management of inventory
  • Accurately forecast sales revenue
  • Other duties as assigned
