About The Position

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Multimedia Manager for its People Assurance team. This role is based in Austin, TX, or remote. The Multimedia Manager will lead the end-to-end production of high-quality audio and visual media, including photography, videography, and audio production, with a focus on post-production editing and delivery of final media assets for engaging training courses and supporting materials. Intertek's People Assurance teams offer frontline worker training solutions through Intertek Alchemy, creative communication programs through Intertek Catalyst, and learning management systems through Intertek Wisetail, all aimed at empowering workforces, mitigating risk, and fostering a positive company culture.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in photography, video production, post-production editing, and synthetic voice-over (VO) creation.
A strong online portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and creative problem-solving.
Expertise in visual design and production, with a solid understanding of design, animation, and the full content lifecycle (pre-production, production, and post-production).
Proficiency in industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom).
Familiarity with After Effects, Microsoft Office, and Generative AI platforms.
Hands-on experience with professional production equipment, including photography, cinematography, lighting, and production workflows.
Experience with deployment of efficient creative processes and technologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively and work cross-functionally.
Maintain a customer-focused, quality-driven approach.
Organized and adaptable professional.
Experience using digital asset and project management tools such as Dropbox and Smartsheet.
Strong technical, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated and continuously learning.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Eligible to work remotely while residing legally in the United States.
Must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Experience using project tracking and management software and services.
Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects, Final Cut pro, DaVinci Resolve or other video media.
Experience with sound design, audio effects and basic audio editing.
Experience using Slack for cross-functional team communication.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the end-to-end production of high-quality audio and visual media, including photography, videography, and audio production.
Oversee post-production editing and delivery of final media assets for training courses and supporting materials.
Support a team of multimedia designers in developing multimedia content for training programs.
Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and professional development planning for the team.
Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
Coordinate with Creative Leadership to ensure timely delivery of projects aligned with departmental priorities.
Assign projects based on individual and team strengths, project complexity, and resource availability.
Monitor team workload and recommend the use of contractor support when necessary.
Act as the Art Director on projects as needed.
Partner with stakeholders to analyze feedback and identify content development needs.
Support the team in applying relevant curriculum and multimedia design frameworks to content.
Support team use of SCORM and internal course authoring tools or platforms.
Promote the exploration and integration of appropriate AI tools into the production workflow.
Review and approve content for consistency, accuracy, and instructional integrity.
Communicate updates, progress, and risks to stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
