About The Position

The Multicloud Network Architecture Solutions Engineer will drive technical adoption of emerging multicloud network architectures and technologies. The role builds and maintains customer relationships, applying technical expertise to align early-stage solutions with complex customer needs. Working with product, engineering, and sales teams, the engineer helps define the technical Ideal Customer Profile and validate market fit through rapid prototyping and proofs of concept.

The position also involves architecting reference demonstrations, validating technical hypotheses, and developing technical go-to-market playbooks. These efforts support product scaling and establish repeatable technical sales motions for the broader organization. The role is part of Cisco’s Global GTM Incubation & Emerging Technologies team, which commercializes new technology innovations, tests go-to-market hypotheses, pursues initial customer wins, and develops sales and partner playbooks. This is a remote role open to U.S.-based candidates; relocation is not available.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of demonstrated expertise in network software and solutions.
• At least 5 years of architectural experience, including the ability to create reference demos, proof plans, deployment patterns, and enablement materials.
• At least 3 years of experience maintaining technical registers, decision logs, and readiness checklists, including identifying dependencies.
• At least 2 years of experience driving rapid prototyping and proofs of concept from initial concept through pilot, launch readiness, and scale.
• Experience collaborating with sales counterparts to support technical validation and customer outcomes.
