About The Position

The Meat Clerk ensures customers’ needs are met and exceeded by delivering remarkable customer service, exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The position provides a high level of customer service and follows safe food-handling procedures. It supports the Meat department by greeting and assisting customers, promoting department sales, preparing, packaging, labeling, and merchandising products, maintaining department standards, and handling customer requests and special orders. The Meat Clerk handles products safely and sanitarily and keeps department areas and equipment clean.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn and work hard.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities
