About The Position

Townsquare Media in Bangor is hiring a Multi-Media Advertising Strategist for a full-time, in-office role serving local and regional businesses in eastern and central Maine. The position includes an existing book of business and focuses on bringing the company’s marketing and advertising solutions to clients. The strategist works in a dynamic, competitive environment with training, development, leadership support, and opportunities for career growth. Compensation includes a Maine base pay range of $40,000–$50,000 and estimated Year 1 total compensation of $70,000–$100,000, based on experience and performance.

Requirements

Outside sales experience in any field with a track record of success.
Strong business acumen.
General understanding of digital advertising, broadcast media, and event sponsorship.
Goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow a career in sales.

Responsibilities

Determine strategies for identifying, connecting with, and closing new opportunities in the Bangor market.
Prospect and identify potential clients using proprietary data and analytics.
Build and maintain close working relationships with internal teams to identify key accounts and develop solution-based strategic plans that help businesses grow.
Bring Townsquare’s marketing and advertising solutions to local and regional businesses in eastern and central Maine.
Diversify clients’ solutions through cross-selling broadcast, digital marketing, and live event sponsorship offerings, including website design, SEO, SEM, programmatic advertising, and paid search and social.
