About The Position

Lumexa Outpatient Imaging is opening later this year in Asheville, North Carolina, and is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no on-call or holiday work. The technologist performs MRI scanning and uses computers, RIS, and PACS while helping patients with examination preparation and positioning.

Requirements

• Current, valid ARRT certification in the relevant modality.
• Graduate of an approved Radiological Technology program.
• Basic proficiency with computer monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse for scanning, RIS, and PACS use.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and observant.
• Calm and effective communicator.
• Helpful, patient, and sympathetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scanning using computer monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse.
• Use RIS and PACS.
• Lift, move, position, and assist patients on and off the examination table.
