About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is hiring a full-time MRI Technologist for its outpatient imaging center opening later this year in Asheville, North Carolina. The technologist will perform MRI imaging and use computer monitors, a keyboard and mouse, RIS, and PACS. The role involves helping patients get on and off the examination table and lifting, moving, and positioning them. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no on-call shifts or holidays.

Requirements

• Current, valid ARRT certification in the relevant modality.
• Graduation from an approved Radiological Technology program.
• Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard and mouse for scanning, RIS, and PACS.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and observant.
• Calm and effective communicator.
• Helpful, patient, and sympathetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging using the required computer systems and equipment.
• Lift, move, position, and assist patients on and off the examination table.
