About The Position

Fairfax Radiology Centers is hiring an MRI Technologist for its outpatient Fairfax MRI Center. The role delivers high-quality routine and specialty MRI imaging in a calm, patient-centered environment using advanced GE 1.5T and 3T systems. Technologists support patients through exams, follow safety protocols, document accurately in PACS/RIS, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams. The setting is a dedicated, high-volume outpatient imaging center rather than a hospital environment. The position offers a consistent weekday evening schedule and opportunities to expand skills in areas such as cardiac MRI, breast imaging, and research studies. Requirements

• At least 6 months of MRI experience or completion of an MRI training program.
• ARRT (R) or MRI certification, or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient imaging environments.
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialty MRI exams, including breast imaging.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Operate GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems.
• Follow MRI safety protocols and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely diagnostic imaging.
• Support patients during exams with clear communication and reassurance.
