About The Position

Heritage Imaging is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for a mobile imaging team serving Colorado mountain communities, including Durango and Leadville. The role combines MRI technology, travel, independent work, and patient care in rural communities. The position pays $50–$60 per hour and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The schedule is Monday through Friday.

The technologist performs MRI exams using mobile imaging equipment, prepares the mobile unit, checks that equipment is functioning properly, provides compassionate patient-centered care, maintains accurate documentation, and follows safety protocols. Travel time is paid, and the company provides a vehicle or mileage reimbursement as well as fuel, lodging, and meals while traveling.

Requirements

• National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is typically needed to obtain the clinical knowledge for the role.
• MRI training and/or experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a secure environment.
• Must complete a background check, drug screen, and other pre-employment requirements.

• ARRT (MR) certification preferred.
