About The Position

As a Packaging Operator, you will operate packaging equipment and perform production tasks with increased independence and efficiency. You will ensure product quality, support troubleshooting efforts, and maintain compliance with safety and food safety standards. This role builds on foundational skills and contributes to consistent production performance. The position is located in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, and involves 12-hour overnight shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Thursday through Wednesday, on a schedule of seven consecutive days on followed by seven consecutive days off. Compensation is $19.00 per hour, with a $0.40 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
Understand and communicate efficiently in English, verbally and in writing.
Perform basic math and follow detailed instructions.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors, at heights of 4 feet and above, and in confined spaces.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, and twisting while wearing required PPE, in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills.
Prior production work experience.
Experience using a forklift or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate processing and packaging equipment to support chocolate production.
Verify product quality and complete required production and sanitation documentation.
Adjust equipment settings to maintain product specifications and efficiency.
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate more complex problems.
Maintain clean and sanitary work areas in compliance with food safety standards.
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
