About The Position

American Road Group is seeking an experienced Retail Manager for the MotorClothes department at Laconia Harley-Davidson in Meredith, New Hampshire. The manager oversees the department’s daily operations and employees, maintains an appealing retail environment, and develops a well-trained team committed to excellent customer service and lasting customer relationships. The position reports to the Regional Apparel Manager.

The role is based in a fun, high-energy dealership environment and includes an anticipated pay range of $45,000–$48,000 plus a monthly bonus, based on qualifications. The schedule must be flexible, including weekends and events as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with retail sales and inventory management.
• A friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to get along with a broad customer base.
• Education or experience in retail sales, food and beverage, or hospitality industries.
• Experience with POS systems or computerized inventory systems, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Ability to stand and work on the sales floor for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends and events as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of and experience with Harley-Davidson apparel or other products sold by the dealership, or demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
