About The Position

Martin Motorsports is seeking a full-time Motorclothes Associate for its Harley Davidson Louisville location. The associate helps customers shop for and purchase merchandise, while setting up and maintaining an appealing retail environment. A professional appearance, positive demeanor, and commitment to excellent customer service are expected. Compensation is $12.50 per hour plus commission, with weekly paychecks.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Ability to clear a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with merchandise selection and recommend additional products that complement their purchases.
• Accept cash and credit card payments, maintain an accurate cash register, and create special orders as needed.
• Notify customers when special orders or back-ordered items arrive.
• Answer telephone calls, provide price quotes and other information, and capture customer names and phone numbers.
• Help organize and maintain the cleanliness of the general merchandise department.
• Receive and stock incoming inventory and verify receipts against purchase orders.
• Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude while demonstrating commitment to excellent customer service.
• Assist with setup, organization, and staging of special events.
• Complete training as directed by the supervisor.
• Follow policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
