About The Position

This position is responsible for installing motion mechanisms in upholstered furniture using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools. The role involves applying padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, ensuring the cover is smooth and fits the frame properly. The individual must be able to read and follow production tickets, line, spot match, 4-way line, and tuft, while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous upholstery experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Use various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture
• Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly
• Must be able to read and follow production tickets
• Must be able to line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
