About The Position

Summary: The Assembly Technician is responsible for the light assembly, inspection, labeling, and packaging of manufactured products. This role supports the final stages of production by ensuring products are properly assembled, visually inspected, branded, and packaged to meet company quality standards. While the assembly is generally light, some components may be heavy and require proper handling techniques. Attention to detail and consistency are critical to maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform light mechanical assembly of components and finished products Inspect fabricated components for basic quality standards, including visible defects, completeness, and finish Verify correct components and hardware prior to packaging Package products according to established procedures to prevent damage during shipping Handle and move products, including heavier components, using proper lifting techniques Maintain organization of parts, packaging materials, and finished goods Follow standard work instructions and quality control processes Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or missing components Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed Support team production goals and deadlines

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of experience in assembly, packaging, or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Experience working with fabricated or metal components is a plus
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and general shop practices
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or production environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in inspection and labeling accuracy
  • Ability to follow standardized processes and work instructions
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to identify visible defects in fabricated or finished components
  • Reliability and consistency in completing repetitive tasks
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage time and maintain productivity standards
  • Physical ability to lift and handle moderately heavy items safely
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in assembly, packaging, or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Experience working with fabricated or metal components is a plus
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or production environments preferred
